The Canadian Museum of Nature’s “Landscapes of Canada Gardens” will be the recipient of an Ottawa Urban Design Award 2017.
Landscapes of Canada Gardens – Museum of Nature (240 Rue McLeod, Ottawa)
This outdoor exhibition space on the museum’s property features about 60 native species of trees and plants (including grasses, sedges and mosses). They are species that are typically found in Canada’s boreal forest, Arctic tundra and prairie grasslands.
It will be presented at a ceremony on October 17th at the National Arts Centre.
